Happy Birthday Kati, My 1st Born

Twenty-four years ago, I delivered my first born child, Kati.  She weighed 9lbs and 4 oz. and had a head full of black hair. Dr. Wheeler delivered her and sang "Beautiful Kati" to her.  She was our first blessing, and I thank the Lord for her precious life.  We dedicated her to the Lord, to be used by Him, for His service and for His glory.   We had a family party to celebrate her birth; October 17, 1984!  Oh how fast they grow, it seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital and now she is 24.   Happy Birthday Kati!!!   We love you!!

Music from the heart

If you know me, you know that I enjoy music, (okay, so I get a little loud once in a while) These precious children portray what I feel when I hear those joyful tunes and see these young, willing, musicians, playing from their heart.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.   Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm With trumpets and sound of cornets make a joyful noise before the Lord the KING!
                                                               Psalm 98:4-6

Our Family Reunion in New York

Where does the time go? Has it really been four months since I updated my blog? I'll just post some random pictures from my "blessings" month. First, I was honored to have my niece, Jyoti and her evangelist husband, Rajendra and their two precious children spend almost two weeks with me. We had a wonderful time and I was honored to have them in my home. Then we, (the Pollocks, Julia, Michael, Jordan and I) met her and her brother, Jon and family, and Buzz in New York for a family reunion at the Wildwood Family Campground. We went to Niagara Falls and marvelled at God's majestic creation. Then we spent a day at Lake Ontario, how beautiful! Mr. Pollock can sure grill a mean burger! We visited Antioch Bible Baptist Church and fell in love with the brothers and sisters in Christ there. They definitely have the gift of hospitality! Thank you Antioch families for all you did for us. You made us feel very welcome. What great food and fellowship! I was so refreshed and challenged by the powerful messages. Thank you Pastor Pawley for preaching the uncompromising truth of God's Word.
