We spent an afternoon in the Garden of Dreams, tucked away behind a wall in Thamel ( one of our favorite touristy places) in Nepal. This beautiful garden was first created in 1920, by Field Marshall Kaiser Shumshere. It was restored and renovated in 2006. It houses a wonderful amphitheatre that seats around 300. They don't allow, weddings, rock and roll concerts or fashion shows. They accept bookings for cultural events and private functions. The flowers were incredibly beautiful. I made for a very peaceful, enjoyable day.
